Hi, I'm Jess!
I'm a mom of two who personally knows the value of photography. Capturing the genuine love of a family and the true essence of life as it is today because I know first-hand how quickly it changes.
I co-own Seaside Studio Co. located steps from the sand in Jax Beach. The studio is a wonderful, air-conditioned location option for families and couples!

I look for genuine connections and telling the story of your love and family as it is today. That means I look for ways to keep you moving, loving and laughing so that every image comes together naturally. I will talk you through absolutely everything so that at no time do you actually feel like you're posing or not sure what to do.
PLANNING
In order to ensure you get the best possible images, I provide clear communication and assistance from styling and extensive prep guides for your wedding and every session I offer. also provide additional planning support from choosing locations, the best light of the day and timeline creation.
EASY-GOING
You can expect me to come organized with a smile on my face and to bring an easy going vibe to your wedding day or session. I genuinely love being with you while capturing your stories and your love. Nothing excites me more than seeing when you are just in the moment and the light is just right!

I believe that not only do you deserve beautiful images from your session, you also deserve an amazing photographic experience. One way I provide that is by ensuring you come to your session feeling excited and prepared to ensure you feel super comfortable in front of my camera! For that reason, every session comes with a session planning guide as well as outfit-planning resources!
NO CAP ON IMAGES AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD
I don't put a cap on the number of images available for you to download within your gallery. What is listed is a minimum number of images to expect and I often deliver much more! I do this because I believe that some of the silly or in-between moments are some of the images you will love the most one day in the future and I don't want you to pick and choose between a smiling one and an image for the memory!
GALLERY DELIVERY EXPECTATIONS
I promise a 2 week turnaround of images but the truth is, I typically deliver faster. While I cannot always guarantee a faster delivery (unless you pay for rush) I strive to deliver much faster than my guarantee. The reason I keep my guarantee at 2 weeks is to allow myself grace during peak seasons of photography and life as a mom.

35mm Film
At your session I will bring both my digital camera and 35mm medium format camera which is a truly special way to photograph. Film photography is perfectly imperfect, much slower and so dreamy!

FAQ
How many images do you deliver?
Every session and event is different so there is no set number of photos that I deliver however I typically say 50-75 images per hour.
How do you edit your images?
I do 98% of my editing in Lightroom with a preset that I have customized and then I tweak every image for color and contrast. I do not do heavy retouching unless requested (& typically for a fee) by a client and for a fee but I will remove blemishes, distractions, etc. if I feel they take away from the image.
How do you deliver my images?
You will receive edited images via a secure online gallery with print release. You can download, share and buy prints, framed prints, cards, albums, etc all directly through your gallery!
What kind of gear do you use?
I have a Canon Mirrorless R6 Mark II and Canon 5d Mark IV camera + 50mm 1.2L lens + 85mm 1.4L lens + 24-70mm 2.8 lens + 2 Canon Speedlight Flashes (and light stands if needed). For larger and/or church ceremonies I will rent a super zoom lens 70-200mm! I'm also dabbling in a 35mm film camera!
What do you require to book?
I require a signed contract and a 50% retainer in order to reserve your date for all weddings and sessions. Mini sessions require full payment and signed contract due to the scheduling nature of mini sessions.
