Documenting From The Heart

I believe wholeheartedly that photography matters. Not only the posed, smiling images. But more so, the in-between moments. The laughter, the tears, the smiles, the silly faces, the connection, their hand in yours and more. I love the way photographs capture life exactly as it is in a fleeting moment and preserves it forever. The way photographs allow us to go back and feel the memories. To maybe look back someday with fresh eyes and see the beauty we couldn't then. To also remember a better time when we're in a darker place. To preserve our most important stories. After over 10 years of documenting love stories and families in every stage of life, I felt a calling in my heart to give back where I can. Documenting From The Heart was created after realizing that there are times in life where my photography may be able to bring joy in challenging times and allow critical memories to be captured.
