Did you have a good 4th of July weekend? I feel like this farm session is the perfect way to welcome us all back to reality!
I have had a “hipster farm animal” Pinterest board for quite some time now and when the lovely Kelsey reached out for a shoot I casually tossed this idea around and she not only delivered the beauty, she also delivered with freaking miniature donkeys!
Since I was in Florida planning this shoot in Oregon, it was a little challenging to wrap my mind around!! I didn’t get to scout beforehand, so just hoped the morning light would be gentle and we’d find some shade and that our farm animal friends would cooperate. And I very last minute asked my incredibly talented friend, Stephanie Yonker, if she was up for making a flower crown and I’m so thankful she did because look at it!! Those beautiful big flowers are cabbage! Ah, so perfect!
So this bridesmaid inspiration + fun on the farm shoot came together exactly as it was supposed to!! There was minimal shade and a lot of full sun and our farm animal friends had us chasing them around but I LOVED the chaos and the challenges. And luckily, Kelsey and Katlyn were up for the fun and looked amazing doing it!
Shooting for fun, without a real purpose allows me to learn, grow and play! And just so you know, I’d love to set up a hipster farm animal bride & groom shoot and I have several other Pinterest boards of fun and if you’re game to play these sessions are always discounted!
